As a teaching artist, work has taken me to both US coasts, Canada, and to places that I never thought I'd get to go!
From New York City to Los Angeles, Pennsylvania to Washington, D.C. (and state!), I come from a rich background of creating and teaching theatrical dance with a focus on storytelling and character development which lends itself particularly well to my work with students who focus in Musical Theatre. My experience in the industry as a performer also gives me the ability to understand and evaluate what each individual student needs. |

Recently, I've started teaching at the world-renowned Broadway Dance Center in New York City! With a variety of class levels in Theater, Jazz, Contemporary and Fusion, I aim to create an exciting, daring, safe space for dancers of all levels - hoping you will drop in and take my class sometime soon! Upcoming classes can be found HERE.
Teaching and choreographing full-time during the 2020-2021 school year at Young Artists of America and OhLook Performing Arts Center allowed me to strengthen my skills as a teacher and hone in on the areas in which I want to specialize. University teaching: Penn State University, Plymouth State University, Geneva College, Gonzaga University. Theatre/Dance companies: Centre Stage, Inc., The Broadway Experience, Broadway Weekends, Savage Dance Company, StudioDans and more. Past students have gone on to pursue degrees in Musical Theatre/Theatre Arts from The University of Michigan, Elon University, Baldwin Wallace University, The Boston Conservatory at Berklee, New York University and Rider University, among others! |
Interested in a pop-up or Master Class? When I teach in these settings, I normally run my class for 90 minutes. This session includes a 30 minute warm-up, 30-40 minutes of learning a combo, and 20-30 minutes of a Q&A session about life in NYC, auditioning, breaking into the professional world, etc. Looking for a guest teaching artist? Contact me and let's dance!
